your taking snaps and ur not feeling well with your pictures your  looking for the perfection know why your pictures are not coming very Artistic --

1.Aperture- IT controls the quantity of light entring a lense,suppose you are shooting in SUN light then you should increase your Aperture like f11to ur requrements then you will get perfect picture, The Aperture is recorded in 'f' numbers of 'f' stops.

2.-Shutter Speeds If you are adjusting the Aperture then you all will have to adjust the Shutter speed no matter you are in DSLR or on SLR, IT controls the image going under expose or over expose ,Suppose you all are taking picture in Sun light and ur Shutter speed is 30 ur doing Over exposure u should increase the shutter speed like 100-350 on ur requrments, and if you are in low light you should Decrease the shutter Speed like 30 to ur requriments.

3.ISO-- ISO is also a very important part of the picture like if ur Aperture is f/11 and shutther speed is 100 then u should try to keep the ISO 100 ur pick will become perfect , ISo controls the  brightness of the picture or Grain, soo low light increase the ISO in ur Camera.
