“In Six easy steps”

Step 1. SOS

·       MAKING A SIMPLE PHONE CALL

Ask the store or family to memorise phone numbers in the phone or for those who don’t know how to use it to make any call. Just press the phone numbers on the keypad stored in your own phone book then press the Green Phone Pad (Usually situated on far left top of the keyboard below screen). To cease phone call press Red Phone pad on write.

·       SOS

There is an inbuilt help line (so to speak) SOS emergency button which may be found on some phones like the ‘IBALL’ Phone. There are a few phones that can be purchased from some stores worldwide. Don’t get put off by those very complicated up to date phones. There is also a great feature with the use of the ZERO button whereby it has your five stored favourite family member’s numbers which are called automatically.

 

STEP 2. INTERNET

·         HOW TO USE INTERNET

The Internet is simply a tool to obtain any information without going to the library or spending money buying books. It’s quick and easy once you practice. As Anthony Robbins once said quote”Repetition is the mother of skill”. The first time you drove a car it was not easy Right? Well you need to be realistic and stop expecting magic to happen. Take your time and you WILL REACH YOUR GOAL.

 

·         WHERE TO FIND THE BEST INFORMATION

 ON THE INTERNET

Type in the Box provided on top screen after pressing internet button. Type the word “WIKIPEDIA” (which is an encyclopaedia) without papers and books) and type any clear sentence or question in the search space situated at the top of the screen of WIKIPEDIA and press enter.

 

 

  STEP 3. RECHARGE

·       HOW DO I RECHARGE?

If you have no idea how to commence just visit your service provider or any shop indicating “Recharge here”. Give them your phone number or if you can’t remember it they can retrieve it from your phone or ensure your family member memorizes this.  It will automatically recharge after few minutes.

Should I get the Prepaid or Contract Plan? This depends on how much you use your phone. So stick to Prepaid and no contract so that you are NOT LOCKED INTO SOMETHING YOU USE VERY LITTLE OF.

 

STEP 4. PHOTOGRAPHY

·       HOW TO TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH

On a simple mobile phone and on many of the latest phones there is a CAMERA Button usually on the side panel of your phone with a picture of a camera. Press this once and look at your screen. Aim at the chosen subject and press a second time and your image or picture has been taken. Usually it will automatically save to a folder within your Sim or Phone. I won’t tell you it’s easy to locate so once again have someone show you how to locate the photo several times. Remember “Repetition is the mother of skill” so don’t lose patience.

 

 

Step 5. PHONE STUCK

·       WHAT STEPS TO TAKE WHEN PHONE IS STUCK

Either you need to call your service provider if it continuously happens or attend the place of purchase for an effective result but since you can’t call because your phone is stuck, firstly open the back cover of your phone. Slide out the battery; secondly check that your SIM CARD is correctly in place “JUST JIGGLE IT A LITTLE”. Thirdly replace battery and cover and restart phone by pressing the Right-hand button top of your keyboard.    

 

 

STEP 6. SIMPLE PHONE
